We were here in mid-June, it was our sixth stage on our Rennsteig hiking tour with our dog. The room was good, the staff friendly and the breakfast very varied. Unfortunately we have to deduct one point because we didn't like the dinner at all. We're pretty sure our food was frozen food from the grocery store. In our view, the prices were a bit too high for this.

Simply eat. Borderline prices for offered meals. Very small card. Unfortunately there was some logistical problem with us. We got bread dumplings and mushroom cream separately. Both in terms of time and on various plates. If you had one, the other was missing and the rest went cold. Beer is not chilled. Long wait. Not for us again.

The staff was very accommodating and the price of the room was absolutely reasonable! I was even able to use the in-house sauna. The perfect place to go after a day on the Rennsteig.

The first time we were allowed to work as a service provider (DJ) in the hotel. The contact me the staff was great, so that we had no problems with the set-up, all other staff were super friendly, and the food was great, we look forward to our next visit.

Good service matching food a nice trip in the snow

In September we ordered a lunch for 13 people. Arrived there today and no one knew about it (but was in the hotel calendar ordered and noted) were in the breakfast room of the hotel and after about 1.5 hours there was also something to eat (or not) salads and mushrooms totally saline or almost spoiled. the same dish with greasy fried potatoes and dried potatoes once with salad and once without. After several complaints with the waiter, he did not even ask if it tasted. Maybe hotel guests there are better, but I will never visit the restaurant alone again.

Had today, to the day of penance and Bettag, as part of a short break still late lunch in Masserberg searched. We were in the restaurant of the hotel Haus Oberland find and were very impressed by the atmosphere and the very friendly service. Since then the delicious and fully recommendable food rounded off the visit, we were completely happy and very satisfied. Absolute recommendation on our part.

Leaky shower that puts everything under water, yogurt on the breakfast buffet beat bubbles and already fermented. Luckily we had our own soap, soap dispensers were totally disgusting.
